Rambro - John Rambo from the Rambo film series Brommando - John Matrix from Commando B. This is a fun game, but not a very good one, is what I'm saying. According to the Broforce wikia, there are currently 42 Bros as of June 2017.Excluding the Expandables themed Bros mentioned in SQBs answer, they are. On top of that, with the amount of stuff going on in this game, sometimes dying isn't even your fault. So as much as I enjoyed the loud, obnoxious narrator during the game, hearing him say things as I lost all my lives and got sent back to the start was pretty annoying eventually.
The checkpoints in this game feel pointless considering every character (With the exception of one.) dies in one hit and lives are pretty scarce. Sometimes, even GOOD characters are impractical depending on the situation, and you have no control over which character you get. However, this is where my positives with the gameplay end, as the game's design is mostly reliant on RNG, and many characters from the roster (Especially the ones who use grenades.) are not that great. And the game can actually require a decent amount of strategy sometimes. I like the big, open stages with tons of people to save, monsters to kill and stuff to do.
Also, there are SOME gameplay things I like about this game. From the army leader's incoherent mumbling and stupidly american sentences, to the way there's no music during the stages but the narrator screams every line, to the electric guitar killing montage at the end of each stage, this game is a riot. It spoofs 80's action movies and American conservatives in the most over the top way, and I ate it up.
